Sleep now in the fire
Sunday, February 24th, 2008Hiya people of the internet, this here be a blog of pictures. Let us embark upont said journey…

I love t-shirts. Love love love them. No better feeling than rocking a fresh new tee, especially when it’s as dope as this bad boy! Mike Giant kills it with this Rebel8 number (all drawn by hand with his signature sharpie no less!), straight of the shelf of the wonder Workshop, innit.

I did do some Free Art. Im fed up of drawing my own characters and I like gems! Cliched I know but I don’t care, they’re fun to draw!

I’ve been wanting it for ages, ever since rocking out at Jonny’s over Christmas, so I treated myself, little did I know the level of obsession it would reach…

I know what you’re thinking, but don’t worry, I was ready to rock, I had my Ozzy Osbourne slippers on…

First things first, make your guitar look fresh (Nothing says ‘ROCK’ like a “Tinker has a posse” sticker)

Rich was skeptical until he saw Bulls On Parade was on there, then he got into the spirit.

See!

I got pretty excited and raced through it on easy. Not much of an achievement I know, got a while until I can rival this dude yet…

Im in the latest Computer Arts mag, talking about “are the big agencies out of touch”. Unfortunately I didnt say anything insightful or useful, but still, my dope red sneaks got in the photo, that’s gotta count for something, right?

My main man over in Canada, design supremo Stefan Dukaczewski hooked me up with one of his super sweet MSTRPLN tee’s, which are super rare! Cheers son! Check out Stefans site & blog, yo.

Danny did what any self-respecting man should do on a weekend… paint a giant Paw

Look at the size of that bad boy!

We went up to great new heights to check it out in all its glory

You can see it from space, fact!

Oh god, it’s crept back again… this time online battling with Martin!

Headgear came out and everything, it’s getting serious.

Jack & Lewis came down from Leicester to see the sights & sounds of Bristoltown

Fish & Chip lunch, shezzam!

I’m dying to see some bloke scribble “you aint met my wife mate” or something similar. (The same person who would write that would be the very same that writes “wish my wife was this dirty” on filthy vehicles.

It may look like pleasure but this meeting was allllll bi’ness!

It was all about the Neighbourhood you see!

Oh god, it sucked them in too…

Logo ideas

Which turned out nothing like above but turned out like below!

I like it.

Dodgems aren’t very popular in Bristol.

They’ve lit up Wills building a treat!

This is on my road, what a sight!

Got my illy on and designed a typographic piece to be screenprinted for the next Carbon & Chemicals show!

The hyper-talented Kat came up with her band mates Simon & Matt as they had a gig to play here in Brizzle but she wanted me to take some shots of them all, which I very eagerly obliged!

Sometimes on-camera flash can be your friend

I like to use the ‘i-dont-have-any-expensive-kit-so-lets-make-what-i-do-have-work’ approach personally! It’s not what you’ve got, it’s what you do with it that counts!
Film & digital come together nicely… This is Kat

This is Simon

This is Matt. He looks like Zac De La Rocha. A great quality for being in any band.

The trio.

Fast-forward a few hours later and there they are, playing at Mr Wolfs!

They killed it!

You need Kats music in your life. Go listen and add her on myspace so you can catch a glimpse before she takes over the world!
That’s all from me folks, tatty bye!
